Our condolences to you, Nancy Lewis and your family, at the passing of your cousin, Joe Hollister.
I (Sheila) is Joe's first cousin on his mother's side. My mother, Katherine Burr, was the second oldest of the Jerman family. Many memories of Jerman family gatherings with all the cousins.
My husband's job moved us from Western NY in the early 1970's and we always looked forward to coming back to this beautiful area to visit family.
I usually talked to Joe several times a year, usually at holiday times. He always mentioned what a delicious meal and enjoyable time he had at your home, Nancy.
On this the day of his funeral, we regret that we could not be there in person. We felt it was fitting that a man that loved his church, as Joe, went to his eternal home on Easter Sunday. May he rest in Peace.
